Ironically true isn't it?
The thing is..I was down a couple of days ago &
Just before I fell asleep
I was thinking,with a sense of deep pain..
and my thoughts echoed the quote above exactly.
I was surprised when I accidentally came across it on the internet.
At least I know that I'm not alone in my opinions.
Maybe it is better to be cold hearted.
Then you tend not to give so much of your affection to others.
Which means you don't get emotionally attached..
hence,the chances of getting heartbroken are basically zilch.
Unlike some fools..like me..and MAYBE some of you out there
We shower people with care & affection
Yet end up yearning for some of that very same love we give of so freely
Even worse..
Some of us..once again..like MYSELF..
Shower love & affection
Only to get total INDIFFERENCE in return
How hurtful is that?
Y'know..
They say harsh words can scar
I think SILENCE can kill
